With a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients, we are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Gas Installer to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on healthcare and specialized projects in a dynamic environment.

Project Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Gas Installer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and working with medical gas piping systems, including oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, and vacuum systems. This individual must be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Take direction from a foreman to install new and modify existing medical gas systems in healthcare and commercial facilities. Install, braze, and pressure test medical gas piping systems in accordance with NFPA 99 standards. Comprehend and follow all safety and quality control procedures. Work as part of a collaborative team. Manage materials and goals to complete tasks on schedule. Maintain system cleanliness and follow proper procedures for medical gas installation (purging, labeling, etc.).

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

Knowledge of medical gas installation and piping systems. Familiarity with NFPA 99 and applicable healthcare construction standards. Understanding of safe practices with power and hand tools.

Skills:

Ability to braze copper medical gas piping to required standards. Identify and organize tools, equipment, and materials for medical gas installations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work within a team and collaborate with other trades. Certifications (Preferred/Required): Current Medical Gas Installer Certification (ASSE 6010 or equivalent preferred).

Complete tasks and goals safely with all required PPE. Complete goals and tasks on schedule. Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism on all job sites. Maintain strong attendance and timeliness.
