Job Description:
Role Overview This position is responsible for driving and installing various types of piles, such as steel, timber, or concrete, to support foundations and structures in marine and land-based environments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with pile driving operations, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safe, productive work on challenging and dynamic job sites. Primary Responsibilities Must be able to rig and set piles (square and round concrete piles, steel pipe and H-piles) in the proper location and drive them to grade using hydraulic, diesel, or vibratory hammers. Must have proper knowledge of using and maintaining any type of power equipment required to fulfill job description. Must understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures while performing job duties. Handle, attach, and remove rigging from piling, pile hammer, and hammer leads. Operates winches to align barge at proper location. Install and remove pile templates. Operate pile hammers. Properly signal cranes. Cut off piles at proper elevation. Minimum Qualifications Rigging and signaling certification preferred. Must have at least 1 year of experience. Understand construction safety standards and productively work safely. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Willing to work out of town and travel to project locations. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
