Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all piping installations meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints and schematics, and comply with industry codes such as ASME standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from industrial pipelines to HVAC systems, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Cut, thread, bend, and install pipes using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other welding techniques to join pipes securely. Fit fire sprinkler systems and HVAC piping in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. Use calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to measure materials precisely and ensure proper fitment. Rigging pipes for lifting and positioning using appropriate tools and techniques on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Conduct maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of piping systems as needed to ensure optimal operation. Follow all safety protocols related to welding, pipe fitting, and construction site procedures while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques suitable for various materials including <

> welding. Strong blueprint reading abilities along with understanding of schematics for complex piping layouts. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, tube bending, assembly processes, and plumbing systems. Experience with fire sprinkler fitting, HVAC piping installation, pipeline construction, and maintenance tasks. Ability to operate hand tools such as calipers, pipe benders, cutters, power tools including drills and grinders. Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy pipes safely on construction sites or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessels and pipelines ensuring compliance during installation or repair work. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions or system specifications. Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
