The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and maintaining pipelines, ensuring they are plumb and assembled correctly. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and welding techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Pipefitter will work primarily on construction sites, collaborating with other trades to ensure efficient project completion. Duties Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and schematics. Cut, thread, and solder pipes using various tools and techniques. Perform stick welding to join pipe sections securely. Rig pipes and equipment for installation or repair tasks. Ensure all installations are plumb and meet safety standards. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of pipeline systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes. Proficiency in using power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with calipers and other measuring tools for precise work. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
