Ability to do physical labor and tasks A valid drivers license Ability to work effectively as a member of a team Ability to follow guidance and instructions Ability to work extended hours and some weekends Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Purpose:

To assist in general operations of a construction job site. A crewman will be responsible for traveling to a job site and working with fellow crewman and operators on various construction tasks. The Pipe Layer is responsible for preparing and laying pipe for storm drains, sanitary sewers, waterlines, and other types of pipelines. Duties & Responsibilities Operate equipment such as excavator preferred Load and unload material Advanced knowledge of equipment, and setup, of lasers, transits, grade rods, and line levels Lay out pipe routes using blueprints, and coordinating with Foreman Be able to set the pipe laser up in the manhole and establish line. General maintenance of equipment and tools Jobsite cleaning Observe stipulated safety codes at all times Report injuries and equipment damage to management The above listed duties require periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending and periodic lifting of heavy objects.
