Hoerr Construction, Inc. was founded in 1994 and focuses on the underground construction field. As a union contractor, the key services we offer include directional drilling, sewer inspection and cleaning, CIPP pipe lining, and water and sanitary sewer construction. Key Job Duties for this position include: Drive, operate, and maintain combination sewer cleaning - vac trucks and related equipment Perform confined space entry in tanks, pits, trenches and other areas. Perform operations per contract specifications. Responsible for vacuuming and cleaning catch basins, draining manholes, cleaning sewer and drainpipes using high pressured water jetting. Maintain job records and document necessary job information and inspection observations. Assist CIPP lining crews.
Job Requirements:
Class A CDL license with air brakes and tanker endorsement. 1-2 years' experience working in outdoor construction is preferred. Willing to travel within our territory. Willing to show a commitment to company safety practices. Willing to become a union member and get a union card (we will assist with this process). Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have an acceptable MVR Attention to detail Able to work well in a team environment Able to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 50 - 100 pounds Able and willing to work outdoors in various positions such as kneeling, standing, crouching. Must be able to operate ascending and descending ladders.
