Installation Technician

Full Bright Sign & Lighting is seeking an experienced Installation/Service Technician or a person with high ambitions and the willingness to learn a new trade. The ideal candidate will encompass the following abilities and attributes: Perform installation of indoor/outdoor signage at various job site locations within Lawrence and surrounding cities. Ability and willingness to assist with the organization and coordination of projects in unison with entire staff. Possess personal pride in the quality of workmanship performed. Show respect and professionalism with all clients. Ensure safety awareness is a top priority for yourself and co-workers. Desired Qualifications and Requirements for this position: Current Kansas Drivers License with clean driving record, minimum requirement. Valid CDL License preferred. Valid DOT Certification, and/or the ability and willingness to obtain one for this position. Bucket Truck and Crane Operation knowledge & experience preferred. Perform routine maintenance, organization, inventory and general upkeep of vehicles used for transportation, installation and service. Previous construction/fabrication experience. Previous electrical experience. Ability to communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner. Requires sound health and stamina with the ability to work in extreme weather conditions as needed. Welding, concrete, woodworking, & painting skills all utilized. Attention to detail. Daily documentation of specific information in an organized and legible manner. Experienced operation of aerial ladder trucks preferred. Training and certification available for ideal candidate. Must own basic hand tools. This is a full-time position. 90 Day Probationary Period We offer a full comprehensive benefits package including company paid health & dental insurance after 60 days.
