RESPONSIBILITIES

Fabricate and assemble stainless steel tubing in group and single line runs. Install tubing on instrumentation with accuracy and quality. Understand and read P&ID drawings and fabrication drawings. Assist and maintain a high level of work quality. Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and industry regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Three (3) years of instrumentation experience. Technical certification or diploma in instrumentation and pneumatic systems preferred. In-depth knowledge of pneumatic devices, valves, actuators, and control systems. Knowledge of PPE equipment required for the tasks. Dedicated to constant improvement and attention to detail. Needs to live within a 30-mile radius of New Iberia, LA office.

SKILLS:

Excellent tubing installation and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment. Instrumentation tubing installation techniques. Strong understanding of instrumentation principles. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

WORK CONDITIONS

May be required to work on weekends and/or overtime when necessary. The position will work primarily in a panel shop and fabrication facility. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty. May require standing, bending, or lifting heavy equipment during the installation and maintenance process. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles, gloves, and steel-toe boots are mandatory. Must have a valid driver's license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements. Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
