Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our construction and maintenance team. This Pipefitter job is working the evening shift. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in various industrial, commercial, and residential applications. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and technical specifications to ensure the integrity and efficiency of piping infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, supporting our commitment to quality artistry and operational excellence. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation procedures. Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install pipe sections using appropriate tools and techniques. Ensure all piping systems are installed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Perform routine inspections of piping systems to identify leaks, corrosion, or other issues requiring maintenance or repair. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical challenges. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including measurements, materials used, and inspection reports. Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing protective gear and following OSHA guidelines during all phases of work. Troubleshoot issues promptly on-site by diagnosing problems within piping systems and implementing effective solutions. Assist in the testing of piping systems for leaks or pressure integrity before project completion. Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency on job sites. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within industrial or construction environments. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations (such as OSHA standards), and industry best practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and piping schematics. Skilled in measuring, cutting, threading, welding (if applicable), and fitting pipes made from various materials such as steel, copper, or PVC. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (if required), and pipe fabrication machinery safely. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex installation tasks. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces. Pay:
$32.00 - $34.56 per hour
