Pipe Layer- Water, Sewer & Storm Drain

Job Summary Wicker Construction, Inc., a leader in underground utility construction, is hiring experienced Pipe Layers to install and maintain water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This is a full-time, hands-on position with opportunities for growth and advancement. Responsibilities

• Install and align water, sewer, and storm drain pipes per project specifications.
• Grade and prepare trenches using lasers and levels.
• Connect and seal pipe joints using appropriate tools and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and utility plans.
• Work closely with equipment operators and site supervisors.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies. Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in underground utility or pipe laying preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and use layout tools.
• Knowledge of trench safety and shoring practices.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
