Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join our team at Gottfried Construction, LLC in New Orleans, LA, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plumbing. With experience in the installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of commercial sewer and water distribution systems, sewer lift stations, commercial buildings, wastewater treatment plants, and water treatment facilities.

Responsibilities:

Installation and modification of all types of commercial piping systems, to include flanged and mechanical joint piping Installation of water and sewer equipment Read, understand, and follow technical drawings and documents Provide material take-offs for supervising staff Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair of plumbing systems and/or equipment Follow written and oral instruction to complete work assignments accurately and timely

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a commercial plumber Valid Drivers License Reliable transportation Ability to identify piping, valves, and fittings of various size and material type Knowledge of the following pipe systems: Ductile iron, carbon steel, PVC, Copper, cast iron, stainless steel. In both flanged and mechanical joint
