Pipe Layer

Aerotek's client is looking for Pipe Layers to join their team in the Waldorf, MD area Job Description The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up both pipe lasers and rotary lasers, with extensive experience in installing gravity sewer, storm drain, and water lines. Experience in working with groundwater is preferred, and the ability to shoot grade is considered a valuable asset. Responsibilities Set up and operate pipe lasers and rotary lasers. Install gravity sewer, storm drain, and water lines efficiently and accurately. Work in groundwater environments. Interpret and work with blueprints related to utility construction. Utilize heavy equipment and excavators in the pipe laying process. Essential Skills 5+ years of pipe laying experience. Proficiency in setting up pipe lasers and rotary lasers. Experience in installing gravity sewer, storm drain, and water lines. Blueprint interpretation skills. Knowledge of wet utility and underground utilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any additional heavy equipment operation experience is a plus. Ability to shoot grade is advantageous. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
