Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Sprinkler fitters are pipefitting specialists based in the fire protection industry. Job responsibilities include installation, repair, and maintenance of all fixed fire extinguishing systems. This position is eligible for full employer funded insurance benefits & pensions. Dean & Allyn, Inc is part of the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669. Union membership and the collective bargaining agreement provides employees a high pay rate, full health & dental benefits as well as a comprehensive educational program. The Local 669 is affiliated with the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be organized, professional, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. They must be physically able to perform manual labor and be comfortable with ladders and lifts. Reliable transportation is necessary. Proof of 5 years in the fire protection industry is required to enter the Local 669 at the Journeyman level. Individuals with less than 5 years experience are welcome to apply to our sprinkler fitter apprenticeship program.
