MI ABOUT THE ROLE
Summer Help Needed! Are you looking for some industrial experience? Amrize is a global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and get exposure to our business. The Summer Helper position is a multi-skilled position responsible for the cleaning and utility operations at the at our Presque Isle plant.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE. Participate in and complete any and all safety processes or procedures as required by the company or outside regulatory agencies Perform inspections & checklists on work areas Clean up and housekeeping duties as assigned ( Painting, Lawn Care, Shoveling, Sweeping) Operate various mobile equipment (skid steer, Loader, water truck, Dozer) Assist within different areas of the plant. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education:
 High school diploma or GED (required).
Field of Study Preferred:
Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Diesel Technology, or a related technical trade.
Required Work Experience:
Ability to work in inclement weather Reliable transportation Strong safety orientation Ability to work Monday -
Friday Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
