Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing and construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills across various techniques, including MIG, FCAW, and TIG, along with fitting expertise to ensure accurate assembly of structural and piping systems. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from pipeline installation to fire sprinkler fitting, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship to contribute to high-quality outcomes. Duties Perform welding operations using MIG, FCAW, TIG, and other techniques in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics to ensure precise alignment. Execute pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and rigging tasks required for plumbing, HVAC systems, or pipeline projects. Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections during fabrication. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards related to welding and construction site practices. Assist in maintenance tasks such as equipment calibration or repairs to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), with knowledge of <

Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, rigging, and assembly processes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and measuring instruments such as schematics or technical drawings. Knowledge of construction site safety practices along with experience working on manufacturing or construction projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing installation, pipeline work, or fire sprinkler fitting is a plus. Ability to interpret technical documents such as schematics or piping diagrams accurately. Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in dynamic environments. This position is integral to delivering high-quality fabrication and installation services across various industrial sectors.
