Irrigation Fargo, ND Job Details Full-time $20 - $35 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) 4% Match On-the-job training 401(k) matching Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Outdoor work Driver's License Pipe welding Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description This position with K&T Irrigation carries a wide variety of responsibilities, with the one primary responsibility is being a Field Welder. The other areas the candidate will excel in is learning the irrigation system, along with wide variety underground pipeline installations and pipeline repairs. The candidate will also learn the assembly and disassembly process of the irrigator, as we assemble new and used units, with on occasion of repairing damaged units. We expect the candidate to weld steel tubing with it ranging from 4" to 12" in diameter. We also expect the candidate to perform other forms of welding out in the field, on occasion we must do other projects within the grain bin construction department. During the coldest days and inclement weather this individual will also assist with routine maintenance of company equipment. This candidate will contribute to the success of K&T Irrigation's Field Service team, and be dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency. Irrigation or grain site experience is not necessary. Candidates must be eager to learn, and actively seek to master the projects they are assigned to.
Education & Work Experience:
Must have Stick or SMAW welding background, and be able to pass field welding tests Must be Mechanically inclined Experience operating equipment a plus Experience working in a team environment The ability to follow instructions, meet expectations, and work long hours outside Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
Requirements:
Must be over 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to work substantial overtime during peak seasons Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather Must be willing to overnight out of town during peak seasons (4 nights a week avg.)
