Fire Sprinkler Installer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Installer with expertise in hand and power tool usage, cutting, threading, and installation of fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will accurately cut and thread steel pipe using a Ridged 300 Machine, roll groove steel pipe with a Ridged 975 Groover, and install CPVC pipe efficiently. Responsibilities Accurately cut and thread steel pipe using a Ridged 300 Machine. Roll groove steel pipe using a Ridged 975 Groover. Cut and install CPVC pipe. Utilize hand and power tools, including drills and band saws, for installation tasks. Demonstrate mechanical inclination in all aspects of fire sprinkler installation. Essential Skills At least three years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or plumbing. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to accurately cut and thread steel pipe. Skilled in roll grooving steel pipe. Mechanically inclined. Additional Skills & Qualifications Polished, presentable, and able to face customers confidently. Ownership of personal hand tools. Work Environment This position is based in Clifton, NJ, with daily operations starting from the Clifton Yard. Work hours are set from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule. The job involves traveling in a company van from the set yard each day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
