Job Description
Job Duties Assist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe Proactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or Supervisors Use hand and power tools with proper certification Over the four years of the apprenticeship, learn and apply knowledge of the following: Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems Making and reading isometric drawings Reading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systems Inspecting and testing piping systems Piping industry codes Maintain a good attendance record and comply with apprenticeship program requirements Maintain a record of on-the-job training and submit to apprenticeship program as required Other duties, as assigned Follow all safety rules and regulations Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays Qualifications & Requirements Must successfully pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing High school diploma or equivalent One year of construction experience is preferred OSHA 10 desired Favorable driver's record/valid license desired Knowledge and acceptance of good health and safety principles and practices are desired Perks & Benefits Competitive and top-market wages Health, dental, and vision insurance Continuous training opportunities Career growth and development opportunities Personal Leave 401(k) plan Education tuition reimbursement Gym membership reimbursement And much more
