Job Description
We are a major manufacturer seeking an experienced Fabrication Fitter to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a skilled fabrication position responsible for fitting, assembling, and preparing stainless steel tubing and components to precise customer specifications. This is NOT a general labor position. Candidates must be comfortable reading blueprints, working with measuring tools, cutting and fitting tubing, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions Cut, fit, and assemble stainless steel tubing and fittings to customer specifications Accurately measure materials using calipers, height gauges, tape measures, and other precision measuring devices Prepare components for welding and final assembly Maintain high quality standards and attention to detail Use a variety of fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with production, welding, and quality teams to meet production goals Follow all safety procedures and company standards Required Qualifications Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings Experience using measuring tools such as: Tape Measures Calipers Height Gauges Experience cutting, fitting, or assembling metal tubing, pipe, or fabricated components Ability to accurately read measurements and perform shop math Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Stainless steel fabrication Tube fitting TIG welding environment Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience Mechanical assembly experience What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience and understands how to work from a print to build quality parts. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision work, can work independently, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
