Candidates must have experience installing storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and underground utility piping for new residential construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Install storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and drainage pipe systems. Lay and connect PVC, HDPE, concrete, and corrugated pipe. Grade trenches using laser levels and grade rods. Assist with excavation, backfilling, and compaction operations. Read and interpret site plans, utility drawings, and grade stakes. Install catch basins, manholes, drainage structures, and related components. Work safely around heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and dozers. Ensure all work meets project specifications and local utility requirements. Maintain a safe and clean work site.
Requirements:
2+ years of underground utility, sewer, or storm drainage experience. Experience on residential subdivision or tract home developments preferred. Ability to read blueprints and utility plans. Knowledge of trench safety and excavation practices. OSHA 10 certification preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
