Fabrication Associate

As a Fabrication Associate you will: Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard. Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies. Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe. Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication. Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately. Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches. Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment. This is a full time, Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in machinery, band saws, automatic welding machines. Good computer skills for automated machinery.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Good communication skills. Strong math skills for calculating product quantities. Knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard. Backgrounds in auto mechanics, machinery maintenance, automotive lines, diesel, or farm equipment.

Pay Rate:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour. •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
