Laborer/Pipe Layer

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewer, and drainage systems
• Lay out pipe routes, following blueprints or specifications
• Dig trenches with hand tools
• Connect pipes and seal joints, using cement or glue
• Test pipes for leaks and ensure proper alignment and grade
• Install and maintain utility locating markers to prevent damage to pipelines
• Assist with concrete forming and pouring as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pipelayer or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Familiarity with utility locating procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in operating construction machinery is a plus
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Experience with power tools
• Reliable Transportation Most projects are located in Summit and surrounding counties.
