Welder/Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipe Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of various piping materials including PVC, CPVC, PP and Stainless Steel, as well as understanding drawings, and welding techniques. The Pipe Fitter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all systems are efficient, effective, and compliant with safety standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Understands and adheres to safety guidelines focusing on and consistently practicing safety as a top priority for all projects completed Read and interpret drawings, Bill of Materials, and specifications. Measure and cut pipe materials to specific lengths and angles. Installation of piping on water treatment equipment including high purity and industrial water treatment equipment PVC pipe welding PP pipe welding Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials as required. Test installed piping systems for leaks and make necessary corrections.

Education and Experience:

H.S. diploma, Trade school certification or equivalent experience 1 or more years of experience pipe fitting ASME Stainless steel piping and D1.1 skid welding certification a plus Ability to work standing all day Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to accommodate varying work schedules Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders Ability to utilize full manual dexterity (i.e. sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended)
