Sanitary Pipe Fitter / Welder / Foreman Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sanitary Pipe Fitter / Welder / Foreman to join our team. This is a traveling position requiring nationwide travel throughout the United States , supporting installation and maintenance projects at customer sites across the country. This role is responsible for installing, fabricating, and maintaining sanitary process piping systems while supervising field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience , strong leadership skills, a valid driver's license, and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities:
Sanitary Pipe Fitting & Welding Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications. Measure, cut, fit, and install stainless steel sanitary piping systems in compliance with project requirements. Perform TIG welding on stainless steel sanitary tubing and pipe with high-quality weld standards. Install valves, pumps, fittings, hangers, and supports for sanitary process systems. Ensure all piping systems meet sanitary and hygienic standards for industries such as food processing, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical. Inspect welds and completed piping systems for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed. Foreman Duties Supervise and lead a crew of pipe fitters and welders on project sites. Plan daily work assignments and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment needs. Ensure work is completed on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Train and mentor team members in proper installation and welding techniques. Monitor crew productivity and address any issues to keep projects on track. Maintain clear communication with project managers, contractors, and clients. Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and company standards. Travel Requirements & Benefits Travel to customer job sites nationwide throughout the United States. Work extended hours, weekends, or varying shifts as project schedules require. Coordinate with project management to mobilize crews and equipment for out-of-town assignments. Maintain flexibility to travel for extended periods based on project demands. Each employee will be provided their own hotel room—no shared rooms. Travel time is paid and counts toward the 40-hour work week. Daily per diem is provided Represent the company professionally while working at customer facilities nationwide. Safety & Compliance Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct or participate in daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments. Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe. Verify that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely. Maintain compliance with sanitary process standards and customer quality requirements. Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in sanitary pipe fitting and TIG welding. Proven experience in a lead or foreman role preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs. Experience working with stainless steel sanitary tubing and process piping systems . Knowledge of sanitary standards for food, dairy, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability and willingness to travel nationwide on a regular basis . Valid driver's license required. Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and strong commitment to quality. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various physical positions for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely. Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Welding certifications are a plus. Experience supervising crews in industrial or sanitary process environments. What We Offer:
