Year-Round Work Pay:

$27.00-$36.00/hour + Overtime +

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Paid Lunch) Occasional Saturdays based on project needs We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Pipelayer Foreman to lead crews throughout the Charleston area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-precision environments and takes pride in delivering clean, accurate work safely and efficiently. This is not a "watch from the truck" leadership role — we're looking for a Foreman who leads from the front, works alongside the crew, and can personally handle complex pipe installation in tight, active job sites. What You'll Be Doing Lead and actively work with crews installing: Storm Drain Sewer Water Lines Perform precise pipe installation in tight and congested work zones: Neighborhoods Sidewalk corridors Roadway tie-ins Utility-heavy environments Read and interpret plans, elevations, grades, and utility layouts Maintain accurate line and grade throughout installation Coordinate daily production with Superintendents, Operators, and Field Crews Ensure trench safety, bedding, backfill, compaction, and shoring are completed properly Safely work around existing infrastructure and active utility lines Troubleshoot field issues before they impact production or schedules Maintain a safe, productive, and organized job site What We're Looking For 5+ years of pipe installation or civil construction experience Proven experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Pipelayer Strong understanding of site utility and pipe installation practices Experience working in tight urban, residential, or high-traffic environments Ability to read plans, grades, and layout with confidence Knowledge of trench safety and OSHA standards Strong leadership skills with a hands-on mentality Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Municipal, DOT, or large-scale civil project experience OSHA Certification Experience with lasers, grade checking, and layout CDL or heavy equipment operating experience Who Thrives in This Role Technically strong and detail-oriented Calm under pressure in complex environments Able to maintain production without sacrificing quality or safety Leads by example and earns respect through work ethic Takes pride in clean, precise work Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable working in trenches and confined spaces Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
