Apply today. We look forward to meeting you. The Role Lays out, fits, aligns, and assembles prefabricated cast and forged components prior to welding, soldering, brazing, or bonding operations. Performs fitting and machining operations such as straighten, grind, burr, drill, ream, and countersink materials to close tolerances. Refers to general instructions to select equipment, set up, and lay out materials to be welded. May repair or rework parts to restore to required tolerances which have become distorted as a result of welding operations. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Must Have High School diploma or equivalent. May require certification.- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screen.
- Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Must be able to perform overhead work.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
- Must be able to perform work outdoors, in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work at extreme heights.
- Must be able to work in small, tight, confined spaces.
- Must be able to work any shift.
