Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Pipefitters for an immediate start in Austin, TX!
WEEKLY PAY
•OVERTIME•PER
DIEM PAY
$32•36/hour (based upon experience)
PER DIEM
$90/day for days worked (if outside 60 miles from job site)
HOURS:
Shifts will be 8-10-hour workdays, 5 days per week (50+ hours/week)
SCHEDULE
Workdays will be Monday-Saturday; 7:00am•5:30pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and commercial pipe installation, pipe erection, and fabrication. This position requires the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, work safely in a fast-paced environment, and perform precision fitting and installation of piping systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, erect, and maintain piping systems according to project specifications and industry standards. Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and plan-set drawings for pipe fabrication and installation. Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and prepare pipe for installation and welding. Lay out piping systems and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up and alignment. Utilize hand tools, torque tools, cutting tools, drilling equipment, and other pipefitting tools safely and effectively. Assist with pipe supports, hangers, and structural components related to piping systems. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with welders, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety requirements.
Qualifications:
OSHA 10-hour Construction Certification required. Minimum of 5 years of pipefitting and pipe erection experience. Strong understanding of isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction plan sets. Experience with pipe fabrication, installation, and field fit-up. Proficient in the use of hand tools, torque tools, cutting equipment, drilling tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to accurately perform layouts and take field measurements. Knowledge of industrial piping systems, materials, and installation practices. Ability to work from blueprints and specifications with minimal supervision. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, power generation, or process facilities. Experience working around mechanical equipment and process piping systems. Additional safety certifications are a plus.
