Since 1986, we have built a reputation for excellence in commercial new install and remodel projects. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping components across various construction and manufacturing projects. Your expertise in welding techniques, pipe fitting, and blueprint reading will ensure precise execution of tasks that meet industry standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while honing your technical skills. Responsibilities Perform
SMAW, MIG
welding, TIG welding, and other welding processes according to project specifications and codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components. Fit and assemble piping systems, HVAC units, and hydronic pipeline components with precision. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading machines, tube benders, and soldering equipment to complete fabrication tasks efficiently. Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Maintain compliance with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards during fabrication and assembly processes. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure quality workmanship while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in welding techniques including
MIG, SMAW, TIG
; familiarity with SMAW welding preferred. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly procedures. Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments with exposure to HVAC systems or plumbing installations. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and schematics for fabrication tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to piping and pressure vessels is a plus. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications. Pay:
$35.00 - $55.00 per hour
