Job Description
Pipe Layer / Utility Installer Next Construction is looking for experienced Pipe Layers / Utility Installers to join our team. We are seeking motivated individuals with experience installing underground utilities including sewer, water, and storm drain systems. Responsibilities Install sewer main and laterals Install water main and water services Install storm drain systems Set and operate pipe lasers Read grade stakes and maintain proper pipe grade Communicate efficiently with equipment operators and crew members Work safely and efficiently in trench environments Assist with layout, utility connections, and jobsite cleanup as needed Qualifications Experience in underground utility installation required Ability to set pipe laser and understand grades/elevations Knowledge of trench safety and utility installation practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic CDL is a plus, but not required Job Details Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for overtime Health benefits and retirement options available
