We specialize in underground utility installation, subdivision development, excavation, and site grading throughout Northern Utah. Starting pay begins at $24.00 per hour and is based on experience, with opportunities for advancement and increased earnings as you develop your skills and grow within the company. Experienced pipe layers may qualify for higher starting wages based on qualifications and experience. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, understand safe excavation practices, and are committed to helping projects succeed. Benefits Starting pay at $24.00/hour, DOE Overtime opportunities Health insurance Life insurance Paid holidays Consistent work throughout Northern Utah Opportunities for advancement into equipment operation and leadership positions Responsibilities Install underground utility pipe including sewer, storm drain, culinary water, and secondary water systems Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and specifications Set pipe to proper line and grade using lasers and grade checking equipment Assist with trench preparation, bedding, backfill, and compaction Work safely around excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment Inspect pipe, fittings, and structures to ensure quality installation Communicate effectively with foremen, operators, and crew members Maintain a safe and productive job site Qualifications Previous underground utility or pipe laying experience preferred Knowledge of utility installation methods and safe trenching practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a crew Valid driver's license preferred Reliable transportation to and from work About Regency Excavation Based in Ogden, Utah, Regency Excavation performs subdivision development, underground utility installation, commercial sitework, and excavation projects throughout Northern Utah.
