Position Summary The Service & Installation Plumber / Pipe-fitter is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair work on plumbing and piping systems in commercial and public buildings. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water heaters, tankless systems, filtration systems, and gas lines Perform installation and retrofit work for drain, sewer, and water distribution systems Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to ensure proper operation Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs Provide guidance and support to apprentices and helpers on job sites Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems, or equivalent training and experience Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, but not required Strong problem-solving and technical skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $16 - $40 per hour (based on experience and certifications) Company-provided vehicle with take-home privileges and gas card Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) with company match Health insurance (effective day one) with HSA contributions Dental and vision plans Life, AD&D, and disability insurance options Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program Skills and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Knowledge of safe work practices and proper tool use Customer-focused with strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and adaptable in a field environment Work Environment This is a field-based role that may include: Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Driving to and between job sites Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Working with construction materials, tools, and equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
