Full Job Description Job Overview Pay:
39.50/hr Pass hair folicle drug test. US Citizen, must shave and work any shift.
Experience Required:
Minimum three (3) years of experience as a First Class Pipefitter in marine, commercial nuclear, or petrochemical environments.
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting ship piping drawings. Experienced with carbon steel, CRES (corrosion-resistant steel), and copper-nickel piping. Skilled in pipe end preparation using hand tools and equipment (Wach or Portsmouth machines). Familiar with pipe hanger installation. Capable of reading a ruler using inches and tenths. Ability to prep and fit-up backing rings. Skilled in pipe cutting/breaking using grinders. Competent in hand prepping V-bevels. Experience fabricating assemblies and details from technical drawings. Able to bend pipe using templates and hand benders. Skilled in fitting welded sockets. Experienced with brazed joint fitting, with or without insert rings.
