In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-pressure steam systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Steamfitter/Welder with hands-on experience installing, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in the field, demonstrates strong safety practices, and can execute high-quality welds and pipe installations under varying jobsite conditions. What you need to qualify? Completion of a Steamfitter or Pipefitter Apprenticeship Program (union preferred) Active membership in, or ability to join, the local Steamfitters Union Strong understanding of high-pressure steam systems and blueprint reading Minimum5years of experience working with industrial/commercial boiler systems Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces Comfortable working in high-temperature environments Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Wagesand benefitsperSteamfitters Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Paid training and advancement opportunities Overtime opportunities By joining Ahern, you'll gain the stability of a company that's been a leader in the industry since 1880, the pride of doing meaningful work, and the support of a team dedicated to your success.
