POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Gas Pipe Assistant is responsible for the assisting in the code compliant installation of gas systems on Commercial new construction sites. Assist with installation of gas systems using copper, steel, and flexible piping in compliance with codes. Read and interpret blueprints or layout basic designs as needed. Help cut and core openings for piping using hand and power tools. Support testing of systems to ensure leak-free and code-compliant installations. Assist in calculating BTU loads and sizing pipe layouts. Help install piping, fittings, valves, regulators, and gas appliances.
