Job Description We are seeking experienced and dependable Production Operators to support daily oilfield production operations. This role is responsible for monitoring production equipment, maintaining accurate production records, managing fluid loads, and ensuring safe and efficient field operations. Candidates should be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of responding to after-hours operational needs. The position requires working a 10-days-on / 4-days-off schedule with every other weekend off. Operators will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to call-outs as required. Overtime compensation may apply for call-outs worked after completing a standard 40-hour workweek. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Responsibilities Gauge oil, water, and production tanks and record accurate measurements. Check and maintain chemical injection rates to ensure proper production operations. Manage oil and water loads, including coordinating hauling activities and tracking fluid volumes. Fill out daily production reports and maintain accurate operational records. Complete monthly production paperwork and required documentation. Utilize computers, tablets, and mobile devices to enter, update, and manage production data. Monitor production equipment and identify operational issues. Conduct routine lease inspections and equipment checks. Communicate operational updates and concerns to supervisors and support personnel. Respond to after-hours call-outs as required. Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and operational standards. Assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance activities when needed. Skills and Qualifications Previous oilfield production operations experience preferred. Experience gauging tanks and monitoring production volumes. Knowledge of chemical injection systems and production equipment. Understanding of oil and water load management processes. Ability to accurately complete production reports and monthly paperwork. Basic computer, tablet, and mobile device proficiency. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work an on-call schedule and respond to operational call-outs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Work Schedule Operator Positions -

New Iberia, Louisiana Area Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
10 days on / 4 days off Every other weekend off 40-hour workweek Call-outs may occur up to 7 nights per week Overtime paid for eligible call-outs after completion of a 40-hour workweek Additional Requirements Candidates should ideally reside within a 30-40 mile radius of the assigned work area to ensure timely response to call-outs. Must be reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently in a field environment.
