Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Job Description The SCADA Operator monitors, analyzes, dispatches and communicates to on-call personnel, field operators and utility technicians the remote monitoring alarms received from field instrumentation and transmitting systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors SCADA alarms from a central computer and telephone. Generates work orders to personnel through computer and telephone. Generates and distributes SCADA reports when requested. Issues System Pressure Advisories and Lifts in accordance with operations supervisor instruction. Performs other assignments as required.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Required 0-2 Years of Related Experience Required Competent using Microsoft OS; Excel, Word‚ Outlook and PowerPoint. Uses skills needed to obtain or provide routine information and answer some straightforward questions; Communication often requires some interpretation (e.g. dealing with inquiries).

Schedule:

This is a part-time position. The schedule is Saturdays & Sundays from 2pm-10pm with the ability to work additional over-time as needed for team coverage/support.
