About the Role Our client is seeking a Full Time Gas Technician to support field measurement and gas equipment operations. This role is open to entry level candidates and experienced professionals. Training will be provided and veterans are encouraged to apply. The technician will be responsible for installation calibration and maintenance of gas measurement equipment while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and safety standards. This is a field based position working in outdoor and industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Calibrate EFMs and gas measurement equipment Perform orifice plate changes as required Conduct witnessing and proving on sales and delivery points Collect gas samples and field measurement data Complete documentation and reporting accurately Verify gas meets required specifications and standards Maintain strong safety practices and report hazards Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition Follow all federal state and local regulations Support additional operational needs as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills including fractions and decimals Ability to make sound decisions in field environments Customer focused mindset Ability to work independently and in small teams Physical Requirements Ability to lift push and pull equipment up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally Ability to apply torque up to 150 foot pounds Frequent walking up to 5 to 7 miles per day Climbing working at heights bending kneeling and crouching Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and industrial environments Work Environment Work performed around mechanical industrial and electrical equipment Exposure to outdoor weather conditions confined spaces and industrial sites Use of required safety equipment at all times Subject to overtime call outs and DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements Preferred Previous gas measurement or field technician experience Military or technical background Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness Gas Field Technician
