Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compressor Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial compressors used in oil and gas pipeline facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of heavy equipment essential to our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced control systems and contribute to the seamless flow of energy resources. Duties Operate compressor units and associated heavy equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and operational procedures Monitor equipment performance through distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), making adjustments as needed to optimize output Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs to maintain optimal functioning of compressors and related machinery Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including mechanical checks, lubrication, and component replacements Assist in pipeline operations by coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth flow and safety compliance Record operational data accurately, including pressure levels, flow rates, and maintenance activities in logs and reports Respond promptly to alarms or system faults, diagnosing issues quickly to minimize downtime Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment within the oil & gas industry or similar industrial settings Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) for process monitoring and control Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment Basic math skills for measuring, calculations, and data recording purposes Knowledge of pipeline operations, safety standards, and equipment repair techniques is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Compressor Operator where your skills will directly impact energy production while providing opportunities for growth in a vibrant industry. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
