Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, creativity, and technical skill. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and drywall finishing for smooth results Execute renovation projects by restoring or refinishing existing surfaces with attention to detail and durability Utilize carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, fixture installation, and masonry work when needed for project completion Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment and following protocols during all painting activities Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assess project scope and materials needed Familiarity with color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and color matching Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment essential for painting tasks Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate project execution Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area and material quantities Experience with renovation projects including restoration work and remodeling processes Hands-on experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, fixture installation, welding (where applicable), concrete finishing, masonry work, and maintenance tasks Strong construction site experience with knowledge of safety protocols and teamwork dynamics Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
