Overview Join our dynamic team as a House Painter and bring vibrant transformation to residential and commercial spaces! In this role, you'll be the expert responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes that enhance the beauty and durability of various surfaces. Your craftsmanship will help clients realize their renovation visions, whether updating a single room or revitalizing entire buildings. Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and color schemes based on color theory principles Execute residential painting projects with precision, including wall coverings, trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, and restoration work Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on various construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion Install fixtures, perform masonry or stucco work when necessary, and carry out renovation or remodeling tasks to meet client specifications Requirements Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of hand tools, power tools, airless spray equipment, and scaffolding safety Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations Skills in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking (including fixture installation), plastering, stucco application, and frame carpentry Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate color schemes that complement their spaces Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety standards related to construction painting and maintenance operations Ability to perform masonry or concrete finishing tasks as needed for restoration projects Handyman experience including fixture installation or general maintenance work is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients during renovation projects Join us if you're eager to apply your craftsmanship in a lively environment where your skills make a visible difference!
