Construction Painter

Responsibilities Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute painting tasks on diverse surfaces using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial projects Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine painting scope and specifications Apply coatings such as stucco or masonry finishes; perform restoration work on existing structures; handle renovation projects with precision Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and perform drywall finishing or framing as needed to support aesthetic and structural goals Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and mixing paints or compounds accurately Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling tools like brushes, rollers, scaffolding equipment, welding supplies (if applicable), and other hand or power tools Skills Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with knowledge of construction estimating processes Strong understanding of color theory for achieving desired visual effects and finishes Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, plastering trowels; proficient with power tools including airless sprayers and saws Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for project execution Knowledge of various coatings like stucco or masonry materials; experience with restoration or remodeling projects preferred Familiarity with construction site safety protocols; ability to work effectively at heights using scaffolding or ladders Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry skills including trim carpentry or frame work are advantageous Experience with maintenance tasks such as fixture installation or concrete finishing; welding skills are a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert painting techniques!
