Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! As a key contributor to our construction and maintenance teams, you will be responsible for transforming spaces with expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to safety standards. Whether you're skilled in industrial painting or restoration, your expertise will help us deliver exceptional results that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for both residential and commercial painting jobs. Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to create smooth, flawless finishes. Use construction estimating skills to assess project needs, materials, and timeframes for efficient job execution. Execute specialized tasks such as stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, welding, or fixture installation as needed. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites and handling equipment properly. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with knowledge of residential and commercial projects. Familiarity with construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and renovation processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate finishes that meet client specifications. Experience with various surface treatments such as stucco, masonry, plastering, or restoration work is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities; ability to read technical drawings accurately. Background in carpentry (trim carpentry or frame carpentry), drywall installation or masonry is a plus. Handyman experience including fixture installation or general maintenance tasks is beneficial.
