In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces with expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your skills will help elevate the aesthetic and functional value of each project, contributing to a seamless renovation or construction process. We are looking for energetic professionals who thrive on precision, craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional results. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment like airless paint sprayers for efficient coverage. Apply various coatings including paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty finishes to residential and commercial surfaces. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory, and specific application techniques. Perform plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work to create smooth finishes and detailed accents. Conduct restoration projects involving surface preparation and repainting of aged or damaged structures. Utilize power tools and hand tools skillfully for demolition, framing, or fixture installation as needed on construction sites. Maintain safety protocols on construction sites while operating equipment such as welding tools or concrete finishing machinery. Assist with remodeling projects by coordinating with carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless project flow. Manage construction estimating tasks to provide accurate project timelines and material requirements. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a solid understanding of color theory and finishing techniques. Hands-on experience with commercial or industrial painting projects on construction sites. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to construction painting and renovation work. Knowledge of plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry, and restoration processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, trowels as well as power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment. Background in construction estimating, site preparation, renovation projects or handyman work is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
