In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that bring architectural visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety standards are met at every stage. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects, creating durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to building excellence and innovation. Duties Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other materials using various techniques to construct walls, facades, fireplaces, and other structures. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying mortar or other bonding agents for optimal adhesion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Install reinforcement materials such as rebar to strengthen concrete structures and ensure stability. Operate hand tools (trowels, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and efficiently on-site. Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, smoothing, sealing, and applying textures for both functional and decorative purposes. Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials needed and planning workflows for efficient project progression. Engage in heavy equipment operation when necessary for material handling or site preparation. Execute specialty tasks such as stucco application, tile laying, caulking, plastering, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing support, and restoration work as required. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving demolition, framing, restoration or new construction to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a strong understanding of masonry techniques and safety protocols. Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, stucco application, tile laying, and related trades. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to accurately interpret project plans. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred. Knowledge of renovation processes including restoration work and framing carpentry enhances versatility. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining efficiency on fast-paced projects.
