Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable finishes that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to the visual transformation of buildings and structures. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications. Execute residential painting projects including wall coatings, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work. Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on various surfaces like stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and metal structures. Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by properly handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment, and masonry tools while adhering to OSHA regulations. Assist with renovation projects involving framing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), plastering, caulking, masonry, and remodeling tasks. Conduct maintenance work such as drywall repairs or touch-ups to ensure long-lasting quality finishes. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a strong understanding of construction site protocols. Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Skilled in using hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (airless sprayers), and specialized equipment like scaffolding or welding tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution. Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, and fixture installation is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and estimating materials needed for projects. Experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry or handyman tasks is advantageous.
