In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using various masonry techniques. Your expertise in handling concrete, bricks, stones, and other materials will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new builds to renovations and restorations, contributing to the creation of durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties Lay bricks, blocks, stones, and concrete units with precision according to blueprints and schematics Mix and pour concrete for foundations, walls, walkways, and other structures using proper techniques. Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete structures in accordance with construction plans. Operate power tools such as drills, saws, trowels, and mixers safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Perform finishing tasks, including smoothing concrete surfaces (concrete finishing) and applying stucco or plaster finishes. Use hand tools like chisels, hammers, levels, and caulking guns for detailed work and repairs. Assist with heavy equipment operation when required for lifting or moving large materials. Execute renovation projects by restoring existing masonry structures with precision and care. Collaborate with carpenters, metal stud framers, and other trades to coordinate project phases. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with masonry or related trades such as carpentry Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and construction estimating processes Hands-on experience installing rebar (rebar installation) and working with heavy equipment. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project implementation Skilled in using a variety of hand tools and power tools specific to masonry work Experience in tile laying, trim carpentry, caulking, stucco application, and plastering is highly desirable.
