Landscaping & Hardscape Professional

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscaping & Hardscape Professional to join our team. This role involves designing, constructing, and maintaining high-quality outdoor landscapes and hardscape features. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and landscaping, with experience in various technical skills including blueprint reading, heavy equipment operation, masonry, and carpentry. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance outdoor environments while utilizing a broad skill set in construction and design. Duties Execute landscape installation projects, including planting, grading, and soil preparation Construct hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to complete site work efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure project accuracy Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work for various outdoor structures, mainly footers. Install fixtures such as lighting, irrigation systems, and drainage components Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Collaborate with clients and team members to plan project layouts and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency Assist with restoration projects involving stucco, plastering, or other finishing techniques Experience Proven experience in landscaping, hardscape construction, or related fields with a strong understanding of construction management principles Familiarity with bluebeam software for project documentation and schematics reading Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and heavy machinery operation Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and safety protocols on construction sites Skills in carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, framing, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing are highly desirable Experience working with plumbing or electrical systems is a plus but not required Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution Prior involvement in restoration or remodeling projects is advantageous This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Candidates should demonstrate versatility across various construction disciplines and a commitment to quality work.
