Job Description
Position Summary The Masonry Tender supports masons and skilled tradesmen by preparing materials, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, and assisting with daily masonry operations. This role is essential to ensuring productivity, efficiency, and safety. Key Responsibilities Mix mortar and grout, Transport bricks, blocks, stone, and other materials to work areas Cut and prepare masonry materials as directed Maintain clean and organized job sites Set up and dismantle scaffolding (as trained) Assist masons with layout, alignment, and site preparation Load and unload materials and equipment Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures Perform general labor duties as assigned Qualifications Previous construction or masonry experience preferred (but not required) Ability to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to follow verbal instructions and work as part of a team Reliable transportation to job sites Strong work ethic and punctuality Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing Ability to work on scaffolding and elevated surfaces Prolonged outdoor work exposure Work Environment Commercial construction sites. Schools Hotels Retail Stores Federal Buildings Parking Garage Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and weather elements
