Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter to join our vibrant construction and renovation team. In this role, you will bring spaces to life through expert painting techniques, transforming residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of each project. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans for residential, commercial, or industrial projects Perform surface repairs including drywall patching, trim carpentry, framing, masonry repairs, stucco application, and restoration work Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for efficient job completion Execute specialized tasks such as industrial painting, concrete finishing, masonry work, welding prep for fixture installation, and renovation projects Maintain safety standards on construction sites by properly handling tools and equipment while adhering to OSHA regulations Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction site work with a strong understanding of construction painting techniques Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety procedures on active sites Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise application of paint and finishes Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation methods for achieving high-quality results Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation are highly desirable Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material quantities efficiently Experience with renovation projects including remodeling or handyman tasks is a plus Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in creating beautiful spaces that stand the test of time!
