In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that bring architectural visions to life, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will contribute to both new construction projects and renovation efforts, helping us deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse materials and techniques, from brick and stone to concrete and stucco, in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and safety. Duties Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, formwork, and layout according to blueprints and schematics. Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete units with precision, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures to enhance durability. Operate power tools such as mixers, saws, drills, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Perform finishing tasks including concrete smoothing, plastering, caulking, and tile laying for polished results. Execute restoration and renovation projects by repairing existing masonry structures while maintaining architectural integrity. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment. Experience Proven experience in construction with a focus on masonry work at a commercial or residential site. Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and construction estimating processes. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, tile laying, and stucco application. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise execution. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers along with power tools including saws and mixers. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on active construction sites. Experience in renovation projects involving restoration work or structural repairs is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site operations including metal stud framing and roofing tasks. Join us in building durable structures that stand the test of time!
